Cops with Assault Weapons at My Subway Stop Today
This was at the 53rd & Lexington station off the E & V trains. I'm not
sure if you can see the cops down the steps there, but three of the
four cops there looked to me to be SWAT (body armor & helmets) and
they had assault weapons that looked like M-16s to me but they had
slightly curved clips.
On a side note I saw plenty of regular cops today--more than I usually
see on the East Side. Not that I see this many cops on the West Side.
I'd guess I saw about 9 or 10 today compared to none the last couple
times I was over there.
