The @JapanSociety's "Concert for JAPAN" Kanji Caligraphy Class pics pt 2 of many

These are all pics of the very basic kanji caligraphy class the Japan Society offered at the event last Saturday. We started off by tracing and then tried copying by eye. The stroke order is illustrated along the right-hand side of the photocopies we were working from. Think of it like Lego instructions.  This 30 minute class totally made me want to take a class to learn how to do this properly. My wife, Sierra, is pictured in some of these pics and she took some of me and our instructor. I’ll post those next.
