I think Colbert needs to start asking this question of his guests.
I’d settle for a congressperson who cares more about me having a job than him/herself having their own.
Of course, the ideal is that we have competent leaders that know when compromise is worth good and when it isn’t. I don’t see anyone in Washington who has a goddamn clue about what really matters.
