New on my 500px: Coliseum Curve

I often find myself shooting curved shapes that disappear in the distance. Usually, the shapes are roads, paths. railings, etc, that I come across. With this photograph, the shape is in the form of the walls that were originally underneath the Coliseum in Rome. This was taken in Rome in June of 2013.

New on my 500px: Watching Traffic

The thing about Venice is that I never got tired of photographing it. Every corner of the city looked so unique to Venice. So, here's another waterway shot with gondolas, but I thought it was neat to capture the two tourists tentatively looking on. Notice their grips on those posts. With a sidewalk that tiny, who can blame them?

New on my 500px: Retired for the Evening

For some reason, I like taking photos without people in them. I find the things left behind by people to be more interesting without them. This photo was taken in Venice, Italy, in June of 2013.

New on my 500px: Venice Darkly

This is my attempt to shoot Venice at night. I was hoping for a semi-ghostly look. I think it works, somewhat, at least... this was shot last June (2013).
