WESTWOOD VILLAGE, CA - Corporate sponsored protesters held a portion of a corner hostage in the quiet shopping and movie theater district as locals wondered just what the hell was going on. The "protesters" chanted things that couldn't quite be made out no matter how close onlookers got to the small, but loud, group.

"Free up! WHAT? Free up! WHAT? Free up! Eedi Ameen! Eedi Ameen!" was what the chants sounded like to one onlooker who wished not to be identified.

"I'd like to work for the company organizing this absurd stunt, one day," said the onlooker, adding, "Maybe they're yelling 'free me, I'm mean'?"cutheater (5k image)

The protesters seemed to be protesting something involving the comic book fantasy movie Hellboy which had it's premiere in Westwood later that day. What exactly they were protesting could not be determined. Even their placards were too small to be read.
