AEON FLUX (2005)

Positive Experience/Entertaining? Positive in that it could have been much worse. As it was, it was a poorly executed set of ideas that were pretty reminiscent of scifi movies I saw in 2004 (Appleseed and Blue Sky). So, yeah, generally positive, but weakly so.

Technically any good? Script was full of holes and inconsistencies like people being very badly wounded but then suddenly capable of functioning as though nothing happened. Acting was fine, and the production design and visuals were definitely impressive and definitely one of the best things about the film. I think I enjoyed the music most of all, though.

How did it leave me feeling? Inspired to re-watch the original short from 15 years ago.

Final Rating? SAM (See A Matinee - on the big screen for the visuals if you've got an extra 7 bucks burning a hole in your pocket)
