Glen Beck wants kids back in the mines? Well, he hasn’t *said* that… but complete deregulation might let it happen…
Kids, some as young as eight, nine and ten, forced to work in U.S. coal mines in the early 1900s.
Taken by American sociologist Lewis Hine, this is what the word “deregulation” means in human terms. Working from cradle to grave so some rich asshole can have a mansion in the Hamptons.
If you think this only applies to the “poor little Chinese kids” who made your laptop, your fancy shoes and your mobile phone…try again. This will be coming back to American soil (soon, with little-to-no chance for retirement) if the Republican party has its way.

It feels so close it’s almost terrifying. If companies aren’t regulated they’ll get rich off of the broken backs of children.
They already do—they’re just Asian kids so we don’t care so much.
