WORK, SLEEP, WORK, SLEEP

What a pain in the ass life is.

Eight hours of work, leaves the average human with eight hours in their day.

Of course, ALL of those hours aren't necessarily left to you to use.

Let's see, you commute, right? On the conservative side, it takes you probably, what? Thirty minutes one way? So that's an hour on commuting, then we have lunch, and then we have dinner, that's another hour. What's left then?

About five hours.

Seems, to me, that's quite a lot of time, right? NOPE! We forgot to take out time for bathroom stuff in the morning, that's roughly an hour, right? So, now we have only four hours left for doing what you want with it. Don't forget talking to your significant other, or feeding the cats, vacuuming, walking the dog, doing the laundry and watching your favorite shows. Sure, you don't do all of those in one day, but hopefully you do some of them each day. So, in the end, there's really no time left to do what YOU want to do. Now I understand why the lottery is so popular. (Oh yeah, I forgot, subtract out another hour if you have your own weekly-updated web site - like me - AARG!)
