My mom emails me this morning to tell me that there is snow on the ground there. She lives in a small town called Rock Hill, South Carolina and she says they haven't gotten more than a dusting in two years. Now, all of the sudden in early February, they get a couple of inches. Have a look at the pics:
That's some serious snow for a place that gets just slightly more snow than Los Angeles. Gotta love this global warming stuff! It's got the planet acting all wonky!
I thought my readers might enjoy a post that had nothing to do with bitching about Bush. :)
Hey, who said you could use my pictures?!? Just Kidding! It was cool to go to your website and see something familiar. Actually we usually have one snow of six inches every year. Three years ago they actually 24 inches. We didn't live in Rock Hill at the time but a friend of ours told us he couldn't find his Miata.
ReplyDeleteWow--so...why did you say in one of the captions to the above pics that you haven't had a dusting in a couple of years?
ReplyDeleteSheesh...
