Here's one for the irony files.
Dude with middle eastern genes gives money to an IRS-approved Muslim charity.
Same dude also gives money to GOP because he, himself, has conservative views.
911 happens and his home is raided by Homeland Security because of that Muslim charity having been accused of supporting terror.
A year later, dude gets and invite from the GOP to be an honorary chairman at a GOP fundraiser with King George in DC.
You can't make this stuff up, folks.

It's funny, I wrote this joke a few years back about how in a decade or so, Osama bin Laden will be so off the radar of Americans, he'll likely have his own daytime variety talk show. I imagined him like a modern-day Mike Douglas who would sing through his monologue and then entertain celebrity guests with his tales of evading easily US forces in the middle east. Then he'd close every episode with his rendition of "Thanks for the Memories."
