WAR OF THE WORLDS (2005)

Positive Experience/Entertaining? Yeah, definitely, but with this movie that's not saying much. I mean, aliens invade and start killing a bunch of people--how can that not be entertaining?

Technically any good? Well, script-wise it was pretty weak. The plot didn't consist of much and there were a couple of absurd continuity errors. Most of the acting was fine and the FX were pretty impressive, especially the dying humans in the first big action scene.

How did it leave me feeling? Neither here nor there. It had some truly disturbing moments and very realistic portrayals of the chaos that would occur were aliens really to invade (in my opinion) but since there was no plot beyond a somewhat uninteresting family surviving I really can't recommend this movie.
