BUSH WANTS $500+ BILLION MORE

I can't keep up with how much the Bush Administration is spending. All right, the following clip comes from [http://www.alertnet.org/thenews/newsdesk/N02194729.htm|a February 2, 2006 article] from Reuters.com available at AlertNet.Org that reports on Bush's latest budget request:
President George W. Bush will ask Congress for $439.3 billion in defense spending for fiscal 2007, a 4.8 per cent increase over the current U.S. military budget, defense and administration officials said on Thursday.

The proposed budget for the financial year beginning next October includes $84.2 billion to purchase fighter jets, ships and other new weapons and $73.2 billion for military research and development programs, according to the officials, who asked not to be identified.

The proposed Pentagon budget, which does not include Energy Department funds to maintain the U.S. nuclear weapons arsenal, will be sent to Congress by the White House on Monday.

The new military budget also does not include $120 billion in planned new U.S. funding for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The White House said on Thursday it would ask Congress in the coming weeks for about $70 billion in new emergency funds for the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts and seek another $50 billion for those wars early in fiscal 2007.

Holy crap that's a lot of money.

You Republicans out there are fucking hypocrits!

Democrats are supposed to be the big spenders--not you guys! But guess what? You "regular" Republicans are just as out of control as the Democrats are thanks to Republicans in office playing Bush's yappy little lapdog.

That's a lot of money. That's a total of well beyond a half-trillion dollars.

WTF!!!
