BUSH NAMES ANOTHER ILL-EXPERIENCED GUY TO RUN FEMA

This is getting absurd. No sooner does Bush nominate a guy who is actually qualified to sit on the bench of the Supreme Court, than does he hire a money man to run FEMA. named FDIC Chairman Donald Powell to oversee federal efforts to rebuild the U.S. Gulf Coast region devastated by hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

Powell, who resigned from the bank regulatory agency to take his new post, will serve as point man for an administration that was widely criticized as ineffective after Hurricane Katrina stranded thousands in New Orleans without food or water for days in late August. More than 1,200 died in the region.

So, what about running the FDIC gives this guy any qualifications to run FEMA?

Beats me, man.

I just wish the Republicans in DC weren't such fucking sell outs.

They should be ashamed of themselves. They're not true Americans--they're the white elitist bastards who want us to believe Christianity is under attack--well, guess what dickheads, you run the show and you're doing whatever your master, George W. (and whatever his masters) tell you to do. The Senate is just a bunch of lapdogs with the Democrats being too dim to realize that their attempt to make a difference yesterday just might be too little too late--especially with Republicans accusing them of partisanship... but that's all for another blog entry...
