Ugh... I'm 45 minutes into the hearings and I'm still waiting for them to get to the questions. This is absurd--nearly all 45 minutes so far has consisted of Repubs and even one Dem explaining how great Gonzales is--one Dem who went on to express concerns for Gonzales' lacky-ism with the White House, began his comments by explaining how inspirational Gonzales' life story was. We're screwed, folks.
Before I hit play on the recording from this morning, I happened to notice C-SPAN broadcasting the results of the Conyers challenge to the Ohio electoral vote--it looks like it got voted down in the Senate. So, there's our government telling us all is well in the face of loads of evidence that it is not. Like I said, we're screwed, folks.
