Entertaining? Yeah, in a really safe "crowd-pleasing" sort of way.Technically any good? Safe, bland choices, but nonetheless entertaining ones. I never saw the original this is loosely based on but it does a reasonable job of creating characters and then doing reasonably interesting things with them--don't balk, these days most movies find this basic task very hard to do. While no great film, it does adequately entertain. The ending is very predictable, of course.
How did I feel as the credits rolled? More pleased than I expected. I expected this movie to be sheer crap, but it wasn't. :)
