Big stuff going on today. If you're near cable TV, turn on C-SPAN starting at 9:30am Eastern Time. There's a buttload of stuff going on today. First off we've got the confirmation hearings beginning for Alberto Gonzales who is up for the job of the new Ashcroft (Attorney General). The catch is, he's the dude who told Bush 43 that the Geneva Convention didn't apply to the US. :)
Then we've got the Electors voting on the US President today as well. What's even better is that Rep Conyers will be contesting the results on the basis that the Ohio vote may be tainted thanks to buckets of evidence that it's, well, tainted.

Our government at work is far more interesting than you might think.
