What's wrong with Bush being prompted? Heh, it shows that he can't think on his feet, on his own. You want a guy who can't stand up to a presidential competitor by himself to stand up to Al Qaeda? Sheesh...
BTW, I think him having an audio prompter before the first debate makes a lot of sense. Some have theorized that he's always used one. Perhaps when he sounded like an idiot, he decided to go it alone. Perhaps there was a hardware problem. There are rumors of him being wired. Check out IsBushWired.com for more on this.
