Let's take a look at the things Bush has been up to:
1) The GAO found the Bush 43 Administration guilty of violating the law banning covert propaganda when it produced video "news" releases that were ringers for real news reports but failed to include the US Government as the source for the story. (Check out www.GAO.gov and do a search for "covert propaganda" if you don't believe me.)
2) Later, Bush decides that American citizens needed to be spied on with wiretaps not authorized by anyone but himself. If you're not sure this is illegal, have a look at the fourth amendment. Also, please acknowledge that the Bill of Rights is ALWAYS the Bill of Rights, even in a(n imagined) time of war.
3) The Bush Administration has now asked for and gotten records from search engines on the web, yet another violation of the privacy of American citizens. Whether or not the Constitution guarantees a freedom to privacy is irrelevent--the issue here is obvious. (Thankfully, Google has yet to give up the records while apparently MSN and Yahoo already have.)
George W. Bush keeps trying to play Big Brother on the American people. Producing propaganda without telling people that it's propaganda (at least we knew Triumph of the Will was sourced to the government of Nazi Germany), tapping wires without the check and/or balance of another branch of government and now looking in on the porn that we oggle.
After letting 911 happen, not finding WMD in Iraq, failing to capture Bin Laden, how can we let this tyrant get away with anything else?
What's left for him to get away with??
